With this being an aluminum pan, you will increase cooling capacity as the aluminum dissipates heat much faster than the standard stamped steel pans while also taking advantage of thick aluminum rail which is resistant to leaking and warping.
The bolt holes around this pan are raised to distribute pressure along the rail allowing for a better seal.
This pan is ____? deep. This pan will not clear the stroke of 383 or 400 without the modification.
Observing the inside of the pan you will notice an internal diffuser that aids in the dissipation of heat.

This is a High Performance gasket that fits 65-79 SBC Engines. This gasket is reusable and will eliminate oil leaks as well as sweating to keep your engine looking nice and clean like it is supposed to.
The gasket has a rigged steel fiber core, and comes equipped with torque limiters in the bolt holes so you will not over tighten them.
